Lest we forget this is a Prequel to a sequel and a sequel to a prequel. Please keep the local politics out of it for the love of God. Overarching moral themes make great fiction.

For example: The Empire was an improvement on many levels to the hopelessly corrupt Republic. However improvements made the wrong way (FE through totalitarianism), are not worth the cost.
